Hi, I’m Steven, a Nature, Lifestyle, and Portrait Photographer

Let’s get to know each other

Photography is my second great love, which was inspired by my first one - my beautiful wife, Amber. She inspires me to be the best version of myself.

A little about me

My Photography Journey

Photography has always been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I still have the very first camera my parents ever gave me, an Imperial Magimatic x50 from the late 70's early 80's. Photography has come a long way since then, but the one thing that never changes is how a photograph can capture a moment in time and preserve it forever.

What drives me

A photograph is timeless. It captures the moment forever so it never fades from our hearts and minds. It can tell the most profound story without so much as a single word. To me, being a photographer is not about chasing the "Once in a lifetime" shot. The truth is every single moment only happens once in our lifetimes. Being a photographer also isn't about going into autopilot to push through as many mini sessions possible for a quick paycheck. Photography is so very personal to me. I want the photos that I take for you to be as personal and unique as you are, and taken with the same level of dedication, focus and commitment that a once in a lifetime moment deserves.

The beauty of life’s adventure captured in a photo

Even the little moments are worth capturing.

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
